WWII US Hawley M1 Helmet Liner 2nd Pattern

This Hawley liner is a 2nd pattern shell.  Shell has a crack on the right side and rear center.  Outside of shell is marked with staff sgt. rank to front and name "Ness" to the reverse penciled on.  Inside of the shell has the owner's launrey mark N-0115.  Very clean, presents well.  It is complete less the chinstrap.
